SKOPE Prototype

With the SKOPE Prototype you can obtain annual, 800m resolution reconstructed values for Annual, Water Year, and Growing Season Precipitation, and Growing Season Fahrenheit Growing Degree Days for Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah for an period in the last 2000 years.  Users can pan, zoom, and even play-back model runs of the PaleoCAR paleoclimatic reconstruction model within the interface.  Clicking on a specific data-point the returns the results of the model for roughly the last 2000 years, showing annual estimates of precipitation and temperature (growing-degree-days). The SKOPE prototype (screenshot below) was created by Adam Brin and Johnathan Rush.  Users can pan, zoom, and even play-back model runs of the PaleoCAR paleoclimatic reconstruction model within the interface.  When they clicked on a specific data-point the results of the model were returned for roughly the last 2000 years, showing estimates of precipitation and growing-degree-days among other predictions.  Its capabilities are more fully described in SKOPE Prototype Documentation.
